Evening meal servers needed at Bannon Street Shelter
Location:	Bannon Street Shelter, 470 Bannon St., Sacramento, CA
Date/Time Commitment:	TBA
Volunteers will serve dinner to the men and women at Volunteers of America's 74-bed aid-in-kind shelter for the homeless.

Operation Backpack 2008
Location:	Greater Sacramento
Date/Time Commitment:	One-time, once- and twice-weekly opportunities
Operation Backpack 2008 kicks off with setting up collection boxes the week of July 7. Volunteers are needed to set these up and make regular pick-ups of donations July 11-25. Sorting and packing event is July 26.
