In addition to families in residence at such Volunteers of America Greater Sacramento programs as the Family Shelter, Transitional Housing Program for Families, Transitional Housing Program for Parenting Women, Transitional Housing Program for Former Foster Youth, Greenbriar Apartments (affordable-housing program), and the Residential Treatment Program for Parenting Women, Operation Backpack also benefits families served by a number of social-service agencies and school district homeless liaison offices.
