Volunteers of America Greater Sacramento & Northern Nevada regularly schedules tours of its various program facilities to allow community members to gain a firsthand look at how restored hope can turn a person's life around.
These intimate one-hour tours also serve to introduce the public to Volunteers of America and its ongoing mission to reach and uplift all people.
Tours are now scheduled at two of our Sacramento programs: our
Sacramento Senior Safe House – a unique shelter for abused and neglected seniors – and at our
Family Shelter, a 62-bed emergency shelter for homeless families.
Regular tours also are being offered at Reno's
Community Assistance Center, home of our
Family Shelter,
Men's Shelter and
Women's Shelter.
