Residential Treatment for Parenting Women
The Volunteers of America Residential Treatment Program for Parenting Women
is a three-month residential substance-abuse treatment program designed
to help women with alcohol and other drug addictions, who are pregnant
or have children aged 5 and younger. Counseling is provided, as are
parenting and life-skills classes.
Successful graduates may apply to the Transitional Housing Program for Parenting Women, a six- to nine-month semi-independent living program.
