From supporting children in need by helping with our annual Operation Backpack campaign in July, to assisting the men and women at our Sacramento Senior Safe House for abused and neglected seniors, our volunteers have an enormous impact on the lives of our clients.

How to become a volunteer

We work with each volunteer to find a rewarding opportunity to serve that meets your personal needs and constraints.

Start your application process by reading the information below.

1) Complete our Volunteer Application

(Nevada Volunteer Application(Bay Area Volunteer Application)  Please note that this is an interactive Word document designed to be downloaded, filled out on your computer, printed out and signed, and then mailed or faxed back, or returned in person at the volunteer orientation.

2) Agree to a background check and pay the $10 fee. You may do this at your volunteer orientation.

4) Attend an orientation, a brief, 60-minute inside look at one of our local program facilities.
